What Feliz Halloween IA is

Feliz Halloween IA (felizhalloweenia.com) is an independent web tool that applies Halloween and Day of the Dead makeup, costumes and video effects to a selfie with AI. We built it Spanish-first for Latin America and Spain, and it is now available in ten languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Japanese and Korean.

We are not a makeup brand and we are not affiliated with any social network, studio or character. We are a small team that builds and maintains the site, the generator and these guides.

How it works

  1. You upload a front-facing selfie with one person in it.
  2. You pick a style: Catrina, Catrín, skull, vampire, clown, half-face zipper, costumes, couples, pets or profile picture.
  3. Our platform's AI service generates a new image that keeps your features.
  4. The watermarked preview is free. The HD image and the 9:16 vertical video use credits; if a generation fails, the credits go back to your account automatically.

How we make the content

  • Examples: every example image on the site is AI-generated from fictional people. None of them is a customer photo.
  • Community videos: when we show creators' videos, we link to the original post and credit the author.
  • Prices and credits: the tables on the site read the same settings the generator uses, so they match what you pay.
  • Cultural context: the Day of the Dead has been on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list since 2008. La Catrina began as La Calavera Garbancera, an etching by José Guadalupe Posada; Diego Rivera gave it its current name in his mural Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in the Alameda Central (1947). We check these facts whenever we update a page.

How we handle your photos

Your photo is only used to create the result you ask for. We don't use it to train models, we don't publish it and we don't sell it. You can ask us to delete your photos and results at any time. Details are in the privacy policy.

Photos of minors, celebrities or anyone who hasn't given permission are not allowed. The full rules are in the terms of service.
